My good buddy Gordy has been at it again. He has taken the custom jig thing to a whole new level by using his own beautifully crafted jighead and scoring on some truely jumbo perch in Yakima County's Myron pond. Pacbassman and I hit some decent crappie in Myron and the back ponds by Pitching my custom Crappie Midget and Damzel Nymph Jigs around brushy cover with some success, albeit most of the crappie we caught went back. Using a motoroil colored Nymph jig, Gordy hooked but lost a"Dinner plate" size slab crappie yesterday at Myron. But the 9 jumbo perch he caught, all on acustom poured Nymph jig, were destined for a fish fry! I will be posting photos and a report on fishing for Big Bull Bluegill and possibl some slab crappie sometime saturday evening. Pacbassman and I are gonna see how well my Gillus Nymphs, Crappie Midgets and new Nebula Nymphs appeal to those hard fighting fish early tommarrow morning. I will be sure to let all you panfish fanatics know how we do. Thanks to all you Walakers who are field testing the lures I have to sent you. Feel free to Email me if anyone is interested in trying them out. Jiggy
