What a beautiful day to get out on the water...Headed out to troll the middle across from the boat launch and hit two 14 inch trout right off the bat on an orange and green roostertail with an orange blade and some garlic oil on it... Then hit the hole behind the bridge next to the fallen tree just messin around with bobber and worm and killed it on the rock bass, probably 20 or so...we were just killing time till the high noon so we could go looking for the big hawgs in the brighter sun...oh yeah, found them all over the lake starting beds....headed back to the lillypad chanel in the back and tossed a topwater frog out by a log...BAM!!!! had a big one hit it, and take it down...set my hook, and my old ass frayed line broke at the knot....I yelled a colorful metaphore accross the lake and moved on...( The bass still has my damn frog in its mouth, as it did not come back up...)...fished around some more with no real luck after 2pm...and trolled back to the launch and landed two more trout...fun day...all fish were catch and released as always....Not a bad day...
