Lake Chelan was good to us again today! We fished the Yacht Club first thing in the morning and got into a decent bite. Found most of our fish in the shallow neck, but didnt spend much time in the deep water. When the bite slowed down we headed for the lower basin. We found fish on Macks bar, at the head of the Trench, and on Minneapolis beach. The bait of choice today was the Hi-fly and Macks Lure smile blade combo baited with a fillet strip. The U-20 Chartreuse glow flatfish accounted for a few fish too. We kept our speed between 1.3 and 1.4 mph and like always tried to stay within 5 feet of the bottom. When you can find those Lakers in shallow water they sure put up a lot more of a scrap! We hooked several fish in under 120 feet of water. What a blast! Great day!
