I only fished for an hour, from 1000 to 1100. I just wanted to try my homemade downrigger. It seems to work. I didn't put any fish in the boat, but I'm sure if I would have been targeting them the way I normally do I would have got some. Surface temp was 56-57 with plenty of risers (some bass too I think). The lake level is getting down to the blocks, so it's a bit tricky to launch right now, plus there's a large log that blew in during high water that's stuck on the blocks making things even more interesting.
Even though no fish, it was a great day to be out and get some gear tested!
