5/22/2012 7:08:00 PMI had noticed the fishing has gotten tougher, starting as far back as 4 or more years ago. I have gone every opening day for the last 10 years or so. Used to bottom fish exlusively, but now have to switch it up constantly. Used to make one day of it at Jameson and the other at Wapato every opener. Jameson got so bad that we stopped going. Fish were small and hard to find or a early bloom in the water made it non desirable to fish. The last year we fished Jameson on opening day, there was a red algae in the water, like I had never seen before. That stained my aluminum boat everywhere at and below the waterline. Finally came off after about the 15th salt water expedition. The fish that were caught, were of nice size?
