A sunny, cloudless day with light breeze. Should have been a more productive fishing day with water temperatures warming and bass and sunfish moving into the shallows. Could see them everywhere, but they weren't very hungry.

The same big topwater bass lure that caught the trout last week scared up another one....but this one....OMG was HUGE.
He followed the lure all the way to the boat but wouldn't bite. We talked about him the rest of the day. Had to have been 24" and with huge shoulders. Probably a cutthroat. The big one that got away!

Had a nice lunch and enjoyed the weather. I boated 3 - two small bass and one decent trout. K. boated two small LMB and P. boated 6 small to medium bass. Water had warmed a tiny bit 62.4-63.8. Maybe next week they'll really turn on.
