We found another great bite on Lake Chelan today! It took a half hour for us to get all the lines down this morning because as soon as they hit bottom we were hooking up! We only fished 3 rods today due to personnel and alternated between fishing for Mack's and Kokanee. The Lake Trout were a lot more willing to take a bait than the Kokes, but we still managed to find a few. We spent most of our time on Minneapolis Beach and on Mack Bar. We caught fish in depths from 110 to 220 feet, but the deeper water seemed to be a little more productive. Hot baits for the day were the Ace Hi-Fly Smile Blade combo for our Lakers and the Kokanee seemed to favor a green and red Macks Lure kokanee killer baited with the ol' faithful white corn. I had my Fishin' buddy Dan with me today and he went home with enough fish the fill the smoker and then some. Great day!
