We decided to go get some Kokanee after the Memorial Day weekend smack a Mack party. We trolled a combination of Mack's Lures wedding rings and mini Cha Cha Squidders. Mack's FlashLites and Silver Horde's Kokanee dodgers were the hot attractors. We baited everything with Pautzke's Fire Corn. We fished in the lower basin 30 to 50 feet deep over 60 to 110 feet of water. Speeds were from .9mph up to 1.8mph with a lot of variation. The average fish was 14 inches and weighed a pound. A number of these fish jumped, even with the Flashlites weighing them down. This is a great kokanee year for size!
