We started about 6 PM at Magnuson boat launch. We started working south on the lake, primarily hitting docks and pilings. I was using dark colored half ounce bass jigs and my friends were using 4 inch grubs. The wind was pretty bad so we ended up pulling out after about a half hour and moved further south into the sheltered inlets by the canal to lake union, back inside that slough by the arboretum. I used everything from jigs to half ounce spinner baits to 6-8 inch soft plastics and couldn't get a bite. My friends threw a lot of grubs and spinners with same result. I think the constant boating pressure from kayakers and canoeing have made the area fairly difficult to fish effectively. One strike all day on a white half ounce spinnerbait, and it could have been just bumping across something underwater. Fished for ~3 hours.
