What a crazy day! Left the dock at 6:30 came back by 10:00. I had 4 takedowns on the downrigger and probably about 16 on the flatline. One on the downrigger was big! I got it out of the pole holder and started fighting him and after a little bit he snapped my line! I know some of the fish we got on were Kokes because of the way they jumped and fought, most I would assume were trout. The fish were biting just enough to keep it interesting which is why i rated it a 2. It was the most action I had seen in a while. I tried lots of new things today, the best results being with a size 2 "perch" pattern needlefish. I used it on the downrigger and flatline and it probably produced over half of the takedowns. I was very pleased because until yesterday I have never seen let alone use a needle fish. One of my homemade "wedding rings" was also very hot on top water. Hopefully my report next time will be better because American has been SLOW! See all of you out there soon hopefully!

hey Mike, the needlefish is a very productive lure I use a lot over in E. WA on Park lake with great results! they use it a lot on Sammamish also for cutts- I use rainbow and fire tiger mostly but did get the perch pattern and it produced a nice 3lb brown a few weeks ago on park lake. Frog pattern is good also

how was the wind? it blew me all over the place on Angle yesterday afternoon so I can imagine it must have been pretty blustery out there. I may get out on Saturday morning or Thursday afternoon but hate going in the afternoon due to all the water skiiers
