Went to Green Lake to catch the Fathers Day batch of triploids. I avoided the 65 st dock this time. The other location I went to already had five people fishing there already. They told me that they were there for triploids too and already caught 2 among them. The next 2.5 hours produced 6 bites and 4 landed. I did ok for the time that I was there. Used chartreuse power eggs with secret juju juice with a 7 ft leader. I usually go with 5 ft, but I was too lazy to change it. A couple that was there had been there for 4 hours and left with 2 trout. The others also had 2-3 trout each. Sometimes power bait/eggs alone isnt enough and adding scent helps.

Pretty much a hit/miss thing, I don't use additives/juice and do pretty well. But if it works for you,..

Nice job. Hit and miss is right. I usually miss, lol. Are those trips receptive to inline spinners and spoons? You know, just to throw the a "change up" change of pace.

I have caught "1' using a "Krocodile", 3/16 oz.

Thanks, ROTF! Just bought some dough and eggs. hope to get the seniors out again next week and still fishing is what they are accustomed to.
