Fished Priest Lake in Idaho yesterday with my daughter Jamie Carr and her friend Alan Barnes from Spokane. It was Jamie's birthday wish to go fishing for Macks in Priest Lake, that was fine by me . We launch at Grandview Resort, with the fog just starting to rise off the lake. With the help of the GPS we headed North towards the twin islands and started fishing at 7am. We found the bottom with our down riggers at 110 feet deep, pulled white squids behind dodgers at 1.8 mph. We were on the fish right away and Jamie got her birthday wish, with the biggest fish of the day. Jamie and Alan caught 10 and put 8 in the boat. I was cleaning the fish on the way in when i was greeded by two Eagle's that where diving in after the remains behind the boat, what a show they put on for us. I seen seagulls follow the boat while cleaning fish, but never Eagles.
