Wonderful sunny and warm afternoon, so I took my two sons out to Beaver Lake for some trout fishing. Lots of other people out at the lake enjoying the wonderful day. We hooked up on our first trout within 10mins of trolling with my son's line. I didn't even have my line in the water yet. We took our time trolling and landed out second trout about 30mins later. My youngest son (2.5yrs) is still practicing his casting and retrieving with his trainer alligator lure -- safer for all of us on the boat. My older boy wanted to fish by "the broken dock and lilly pads," so we switched from trolling to Powerbait for my son and I played with various lures. No bites after 40 some minutes, so we switch back to trolling and made one last circle through half of the lake. 2 hours of fun and time with my sons. No pics this time.
