To be truthfully honest I wasn't going to post a report on this, fishing wasn't very good at all, but my dad asked me to so he could find out what type of salmon he caught. We were fishing at South Lake Union park, I picked up some smallies around a pound and some incredibley darkely colored rock bass. They were litterly almost solid black. They're whole undersides were actually solid black. All of these were caught on dropshots in varrying depth ranges along the wall there. The catch of the day was the salmon my dad caught, anyone know what type? Please comment! He caught it on a spro bbz shad swimbait. We'll probably go back out to fish sunset later, either on the boat or South Lake Union Park again. Hopefully bass fishing will pick up later today. Also, anyone had very much experience with crappie at South Lake Union?
