Went to Offut lake to try my luck it was rainy and windy but threw on the rain gear and headed out of the launch area. As soon as I got around the corner - wham, wham 2 good bites about 15 min later fish on and boy it was a nice one. 22 inches and almost 5lbs. The only problem was I didn't bring a net and I was using a 5 foot ultra light rod with a tiny spinning reel with 4lb line. So I had to play him until he tired so I could get him in the boat. After that the bites were consistent and caught and released 4 more little stockers.
