Arrived at lake at 6:30PM, just a bit of late fishing after Church and a great Father's Day dinner with family. Brought my ultra-light tackle and tied on a silver and red SuperDuper. Was raining steadily at beginning, then about a half hour in, the rain stopped and a really pleasant evening ensued. C&R three rainbows from pier, lost two more, in first hour and a half. Light began to fade and strong wind blew up from the South, and SuperDuper wasn't cutting it anymore. Tied on a fluorescent yellow Rooster Tail, but nothing on that. By 8:30, light was really diminished, so tied on a fluorescent red spoon and C&R fourth fish, then lost another, then caught and kept my fifth rainbow (dinner on Monday) and left the lake by 9:00PM. Totally awesome conclusion to a wonderful day!

Great way to end the day,... How big were they, 10"-11" range?

Were all 11" to 12". The one I kept measured 11 1/2". The fish have been in the lake for a while now and the flesh is becoming much more pink (protein)... good eating!
