Took the wife up to Waitts to get her fill of trout fishing but ended up doing more bass fishing due to afternoon winds effecting boat control. Even though the bass are in spawn mode I managed to pick up a few, the wife caught a perch and a black crappie. Fished around the docks and lilly pads flipping plastics, a scuppernog 8" Zoom lizard seemed to work the best on the bass. There were plenty of bass still on beds, nothing over 4 lbs though. Finished up an early evening trolling for trout and the wife picked up a decent 16" rainbow and I picked up a little brown on a black and gold panther martin. A fun and beautiful day out fishing!
