Went down to Sayer's pits to see if I could finally catch a SMB. And I did. It's nothing special size wise, but, believe it or not, it's my FIRST EVER SMB. Lived in WA all my life and I've never caught a SMB. Until last night. Really nothing special. Just walked the extensive bank area throwing a Strike King Red Eye Shad rattle bait. I will say that this fish put up the fight all SMBs are known for. Silly amount of power from such a small fish. Now I have nothing left to do but catch a 3lb+ fish and see what that's like. I would expect that to be a slight bit more challenging than this little guy.
