Are there really Bass, Bluegill, and Crappie in Sprague? I suspect that the bucket biologist could have had more success in starting these species then the State of Washington did. LOL

This is the third trip to Sprague this year, each time testing for bass and bluegills, and this is getting pretty old. On a previous trip we saw three bass, of three sizes, and that was all. This time two of us hit every type of cover, with our eyes and our lures, and we saw nothing. We poked into the reeds and saw nothing. We fished the shallow weeds and did not even get a response. We fished deep and found nothing. We found no beds, we had no hits, we saw no indication of panfish or LMB at all.

The State told us that they are putting trout into Sprague until warm waterater species have taken hold and got to size. I sure hope that they have planned on putting trout into Sprague in large numbers for several years to come, because I will need to see pictures, and read several positive reports, before I will believe that the attempt to eradicate Walleye and plant back the Bass and Bluegills was worth it.
