Driving up to the lake, the rain was just pouring, but when we arrived it stopped, fished green powereggs off the bottom. I learned that the secret is to use a small #6 or 8 egg hook with power eggs on, about 4 feet off the bottom. I learned this as my dad limited out on this setup before I caught one. The fish were all small planters. I only caught one. Tried Thunder and Lightning lake on the way home, for the first time. I got a few hits on a gold spinner, but no takes.
