Well we had quite the morning on Long. Seems like this lake is heating up! Temps were 60-62 degrees and we didn't go down to Tum Tum where I would guess it's at least 64 degrees. Targeting SMB and ended up catching 7 species of Fish--SMB, LMB, Rainbow Trout, Crappie, BlueGill, Perch, and Squawfish. There were three of us on the boat and each of us caught at least 6 fish and total was 22 for the day. Had a couple nice Smallies around 17-18 inches and the two fun fish of the day were the 14 in slab of a crappie (pic) and the 2lb Rainbow Trout that absolutely crushed my tube when I bounced it off the bottom. All in all a great day with not many pleasure boaters since the clouds were out. Be careful there is a ton of debris on the water don't want to ruin your boat! Pretty much all fish caught in Rocky Areas and most were at least 10 ft deep. Hope this helps and tight lines everyone!
