Didn't really go out with any big hopes, as I was taking my boat out to make sure the motor repairs I did worked out. We decided to cast out some lines on the north end near the canal. A couple little hits and some activity near one of the docks, but nothing worth noting. At the advice of one of the homeowners we were talking to, we went to the southeast tip of the lake targeting bass. We got in close to the pads and the big downed tree, and started casting plastics and worms/bobbers out towards the pads. No bass unfortunately, but tons of Pumpkinseed Sunfish. Tons. They would start attacking everything we put in the water immediately. I can see it being a nuisance if we were seriously trying for bass, but just playing around with them was fun.
