I started the morning with double ( 2 rod endorsement) Dick Nite Pink Splatters Dodgers paired with Wannafish A Lure’s Pink Splatter’s and I got a double bite in the first 15 minutes. This was at 7:15am at my local kokanee lake. I brought one kokanee in and the other got off. That was it for doubles. One rod with the new Pink Splatter dodger was getting all the fish. After several bites and a couple of fish. I didn’t have a hit for an hour so I replaced the old Pink Splatter Dodger with the Dick Nite Chartreuse Hot Head Scaled dodger and a Wannafish A Lure beaded spinner. This got the last and biggest fish at the lowest depth of 32 feet down in 80 feet of water. The first fish came at 15 feet in 30 feet of water. The others at 23 feet in 50-70 feet of water. I finished before 10am.
The weather was overcast with a small front predicted to come in later tonight. There was only a slight breeze blowing and the air temp was about 60 degrees.
Four fish came in on the new dodger. How do they know? Maybe I will have to polish the nickel part up on the older one. In my opinion Dick Nite Spoons Dodgers ROCK! Especially paired with Wannafish A Lure lures!
We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons.
