Lake Trout fishing on Chelan was hot this weekend!! We were at it again both Saturday and Sunday on Mack Bar. The depths we fished varied quite a bit, but the most productive water seemed to be between 130 and 160 ft. The deeper water outside the Bar seemed to heat up every afternoon. We kind of played cat and mouse with the lakers between the deep water and the shallow stuff. We would hammer away at them at one depth until they moved and then we had to hunt them down again. The baits that worked best for us were the Ace Hi-Fly Smile Blade combo and the T-4 Purple Glow Flatfish. We caught a lot of quality fish this weekend! Huge thanks to Chad and Mason for fishing with me on Saturday. Also to Jason, Tara, and Reed for fishing with me on Sunday. Awesome weather, great weekend!
