Wow what a Ride today! We started this morning at the Yacht Club with light wind out of the North then Mama Nature threw me a curve ball with the wind whipping up out of the North with a 30mph gust, then Shortly after she decided to make it even more Miserable with a Double wind hitting us out of the Southwest and the North. This was an incredible site to see with the wind from the north meeting the wind from the southwest. Looked like a giant whirlpool and yes we were right in the middle of it. Now to the fishing, Between the gusts we did manage to catch 7 laketrout this morning with the Big Fish tipping the scale at 14lbs. 12 oz..Joe's Bait rig worked best again today! A huge thanks to Frank Stewert, Bill Hendricks and Brent Peyton for fishing with me today. After successfully dropping the guys off at their dock, I got to experience the roughest water I have been on in a very long time as I motored to the Launch!!!! Tight lines to all and be safe!!!
