Third time trying & nothing but another rough afternoon at fenwick. 3 of us went and not one bite between us. Tried power bait, real worms, fake worms, power eggs & a wedding ring. No luck. Talked to a few others trying from shore & no luck on their lines either

I don't know what it is about this lake, but you are not alone. I have never caught any fish at Fenwick either and I've been there about as many times as you total. I know they're there. Thanks for the report.

I've been out there maybe 25 times and have only caught 4 fish, Rainbows. They just don't stock it very heavy and the weeds are EPIC. You pretty much just throw some power eggs out there off the bottom and enjoy the scenery, bonus if you get one.

Agreed. I think we're done with Fenwick. Haven't been to Geneva but have had tough luck at North Lake the 3 or 4 times we've been there. We park in the lot and crawl around in the bushes to the left of the dock until we find an open spot. The bonus to North Lake is that it's so pretty & typically quiet. Any tips for North Lake? We've tried from the bottom with power eggs & bait as well as from the a bobber. Definitely looking for a hot spot this weekend to redeem ourselves! Suggestions are greatly appreciated! We try to scope out new spots but typically end up defeated and back at the Steel Lake dock with all the rest of the yahoos.... Thanks guys!
