I bassed Cassidy 4 or 5 times over the past few weeks as the bite turned on a bit. This day I got one nice one that was a bit skinny and looked spawned out. One 4 pounder, one about 2 pounds, and some other smaller ones around 12 inches. C&R'd only 6 or 7 so not incredible fishing, but getting better. Noticed many baby bass minnow pods in some areas. I also caught two 12" crappies on my bass worms when working these areas. Some of these crappies are huge! You don't often get to lip a crappie......

Either of you have advice on how to rig plastics? i have been trying texas and wacky... i noticed a heap of algae blooms on Flowing Lake a few days ago. rather than using senco pumpkin, should i try something bright like a white/black rig? do you guys hit dropshots...? also, should i be using a worm weight or just cast w/out weight/let sink slowly? Thanks!
