Got there about 5:15AM. Lunar/tide charts said it should be a helluva bite about by 6:30AM. It's all lies I tell you! I threw everything I had at 'em. Split shotted Power Worms under a bobber & floated off the bottom, (Capt America, Fluro-Red, Chartreuse, Orange Sparkle PowerBait from 3 different companies), (chartreuse, Orange, Fluro-Red power eggs,). I even tried a spin-glo setup & a KwikFish. When I left at 11AM at least 10 or 12 people had come and gone all of us fishless, and the guy trolling with his kid looked like a bust too. I think the high water temps have killed the trout bite until fall. Maybe I'll try a much bigger lake like Roesiger where they may still be low enough to catch fish.
I also tried to catch the ever elusive Gissberg Channel Cat(yes its been planted). Tried 3 different types of down south stink bait and also liver flavored PowerBait for Catfish with no luck.
I did see a HUGE school (like 200+) of small 3-4" trout that were very slowly cruising the shoreline in about 2' of water and some type of very small snake swimming across the lake. And if by some miracle the blonde in the pink bikini getting a tan reads this, you made getting skunked fishing today quite a bit more enjoyable. Thanks! ;)
