My buddy had a rough night and so we didn't try to hit the early morning bite. We also might have been a little discouraged from our attempt the previous evening. We had to get back and break camp by the 2:00 checkout time, but fished as much as we could until then. We started at the cove by the campsite (Shannon Cr.), moved across the lake to Noisy Creek, and down lake from Noisy Creek. Nothing was interested in what we offered. We tried every size/color dodger we had and a variety of lures; tipped with cured shrimp or raw shrimp. The good news was that it was a calm morning, a sunny day, and Mt. Baker was out. As the lake was essentially flat, it was also easier to see the debris (from logs that couldn't be ignored to branches and sticks. The wind started to pick up as we got back to the launch at 1:30.
