Wow what a Morning!!!! Ok to start the day, we motored out from the dock to Mack Bar and when I shut my main motor down, I noticed steam coming from the motor housing...Opened up the cover and yep Dipstick Joe forgot to tighten the Radiator cap down after checking the fluid Level earlier.DahdaDah:) Then as I was setting up the Downrigger on the right side the main power Button Broke and snapped the Powerpro so there went a 12lb. Downrigger ball!! Another lake Chelan Donation!! another DahdaDah!!! Ok now all the bad luck is gone Right? Not..While making our first turn after our pass over the Bar, we got hit on an outside rod and the fish ran into the other outside rod on the opposite side of the boat and well to make a long story short it was a mess and we lost the fish:( To be honest I was ready to bag it but Whenever I have had mechanical trouble in the past, something really good follows!
So after I got all the Kinks worked out we headed back over the bar and Holy Moly he got hit on the left Rod, Then hit on the Right Rod, Then the outside rod went off. A Triple!!!..First Fish that Braxton Lloyd boated weighed in at 11lbs. 10 oz. and the Fish that Carter Lloyd boated 9lbs. 10 oz. then Grandpa Buddy Peppers boat the 3rd Fish weighing in at 9lbs. 4 oz. We ended the 4 hour Boat with a Good mess of Fish.. Thanks so much to my guys today and for sticking it out with all that happened!!!!Tight Lines to All and Be Safe!!!
