Despite being incredibly tired (as you can tell in the pics) from football every day this week and lack of sleep, still decided to wake up this morning and get out for some fishing. Got out and there around 5AM, and there appeared to be a small local tournament going on by 1-90, but we fished there anyways. I caught this 2.5-3pound SM on koopers livetarget deep diving crawfish crank on the east side of the 1-90. Barely felt the hit. He came up behind it and sucked it in. After quite awhile, along with some dinks, my dad pulled one out around 2 pounds on a dropshot around a deep dock. After that decided to call it a morning around 9AM. I did get a new shimano cronarch 200e7 to add to my curado 200e's, for frog fishing. Spooled with 40 pound braid, I did frog fish a little this morning, with one very small splash (not even a blow up). Gonna probably head out and fish Desire from float tube a little later today.
