got to pine lake to check our crawfish pots that we left there earlier. But someone took them. I caught three bass a few days ago when we were dropping the pots. 1 largemouth, and 2 smallmouth, all about 1/2 pound to 1 pound. all released except one smallmouth, when one of the chinese guys, mandarin, kept bothering me to give it to him. Caught this bad boy this morning, and apparently the same chinese people where there. as soon as I caught it, one of them ran over and tried to net it, I was having a fun time fighting it, Seriously, when I say back off, back off, give me some space to fight the fish. brought the fish away from the crowd that was gathering, quickly pulled it out the water, took a few pictures, kissed it, and back into the water it went. Really nice area to fish aside from the people who wants your fish. I didnt have a scale on hand so, I'm assuming it was around the 4 -5 lbs range.

Looks closer to 3-3.5lbs, nice fish though. Sorry about the people, thats kinda a bummer

could be around the 3 pound range, I I'll never know, It was pregnant as well. and im not a small person. 6 ft 270. lol

Those people are probably the ones that stole your pots, after all, the one acualy tried to steal your fish.

Not to report ninja, but I went out there yesterday and saw the two Mandarin gentlemen out there. I asked one of them if they had a fishing license and he acted like he didn't know what I was asking, then left about 10 minutes later. I didn't see any signs of your pots unfortunately. Was hoping maybe i would get lucky and return them. Weather was on and off and a bit cooler. Only 1 hit on a jig, no hook up. Thought there were only largies in this lake, but now I know.

@bankbasser thanks for looking out. I doubt I'll find them. It was homemade and butt ugly, but I guess it worked so someone took it.
