Can't believe it's been a whole week since I put a line in the water, I really wanted to hit Lake Spokane this evening but my better half convinced me otherwise so up to Loon we went after work. Put in about 6pm so we had a couple hrs of quality fishing. Thought I'd change it up a bit and hit our old Tiger trout cove where I managed to pull out a couple of decent hungry girls from under the docks, we spent our whole evening in the cove and picked up 3 LMB, 2 SMB, 2 Perch and a bluegill. I used a "8 Zoom Lizard but I can't really say what color it was because it was an experiment. As you know if you intermix light colors with dark, the dark color tends to bleed into the lighter colors, thus I came up with an unusual color of lizard that they seem to like, at least this evening, and guess what, I only had one! Another great evening of fishing!

Hey Jim,
I'd like to see you Lip a pike like that!!

Good to see you're still putting a few in the boat. The pike fishing has slowed a little. I was fishing 80 degree water last weekend. Two of us managed 12 fish but nothing but the little guys biting in that warm water. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Mark, I've had a couple come close to my hand like that! Good to see your still slaying the Pike over on Lake Coeur D'Alene, I sure do miss catching them, although I have had a few bass on that would challenge a good Pike fight, they've been pretty fiesty!
