Fishing was pretty good tonight, atleast number wise. I caught alot of dinks and squaws. Finally towards the end of the night I hooked into this nice smallie, approaching 4 pounds. I thought he was a dink also cause he hit and then ran towards the boat (very hard to pick up line on a curado 200e5) so he didn't feel very big until he got close to the boat. When he got close, he peeled out drag and violently thrashed everywhere .I caught him on a koopers livetarget deep diving craw crank on a 15ft deep rockpile by the 1-90. Made my night. Although not a good size night, this SM made me very happy with tonights fishing.

Hey Logan, I constantly see you pulling up big bass... What size/action rod do you use, and what pound test/type of line?

Your gonna have to narrow it down to technique for me, I constantly have 6 rods on deck, rigged with differint things and line to fit those techniques, ready to go at all times.

You keep mentioning this rock pile by the bridge. I really need to find this pile myself, lol.

Hint for it? Is it on the west or east side of MI?

There is at least 6 rockpiles under or within a stones throw of the east channel bridge. This area is neat to drop an underwater camera, and I highly recommend doing so!
