Great day fishing at Dog Lake first time this year. We arrived at 9:30 am and stayed till 6pm. The bite was good we caught 10 -12 planters between 4 of us fishing released all. Had more on the line that we lost going up to the boat. I had some young fishermen with me 6-13 years old so alot of it was teaching them. No pole out for me. My nephew caught a nice triploid 14-15 inches. Funny thing the best fighting fish out of the group we caught was about an 8 inch brookie. The weather was great maybe 65-70 degrees the wind kicked up a little bit off and on. Made it a little hard to steer the boat while trolling with the trolling motor but no worries. Gave it a 4 star just cause we caught only one triploid but the day was awesome and great memories.
