8/6/2012 4:30:00 PMI used to have a couple of those. Yukon wouldn't even wait for the fish to be brought into the boat. Cherokee got so excited one time that she tried to walk on the gunnel to get past me to check out the fish that she fell into the water. At least she was wearing her life preserver. Both dogs were Alaskan Malamutes and 25 some years apart. Yukon from 1978 to 1991, and Cherokee from 2001 to 2009, 3 years ago tomorrow she died.

8/6/2012 4:46:00 PMDogs are always good company. Cotton always needs to check out the fish and give them a friendly lick or bite. Dreading the day when he gets old though, that'll be a tough day.
