Caught no kokes but the trout were somewhat more cooperative. we caught 7 rainbows, released 4 and kept the best looking 3, the largest fish had a few copopod marks, the 2nd largest was just about untouched, and the little one was chrome and untouched. the other 4 were pretty chewed up. 3 we kept were really red inside, nice holdovers from a relatively clean lake, largest was 14 inches, but FAT fish, eating well. All were taken on the downriger between 35 and 45 ft., wedding ring with half of a flor. yellow power egg with smelly jelly behind a silver dodger, looks like corn but no kokes bit.We snagged up a crawdad trap from about 45 ft. down in 60 ft. of water, managed to get it up without losing gear, what a pain in the butt! I didn't think there would be any crawdads in this lake, bottom is silty and mud vs. the rock bottoms I know they like.Nice morning 'till the speed crowd came out at 11:00 a.m.,they think nothing of blasting full throttle within 20 yards of shore and off our canoe, makes us miss Quinalt.Bob R
