After fishing at the mouth of the Sultan without luck for 3 weekends now, I decided to give lake fishing a try. I got there at about 6 am and there were like 6 people at the south dock at Hill Park. No one at the north dock. I always have luck at the north dock so i fished there. As soon as i got there i saw lots of fish rolling. I saw some thing huge splash, 5LBS. So i decided to go with a bottom rig for trout. No luck with corn powerbait. Tried Nymph in Grape, no luck. Then i tried bobber and worm for perch or cutts. I was surprised i caught a 8" dink bass. Then i switched over to a carp rig and tried using doughball and worm, caught a perch. The best part of my fishing was when i met a nice Nicaraguan man who told me about his fishing adventures as a boy, catching Bagre catfish and also told me about an aquarium fish he used to catch with a giant ball on its head. Some one else told me that there are Mackinaw in Lake Stevens is that true?
