Headed out to greenlake today at about 12:30 at the dock by the communtiy center. Fished with some shrimp on an egg sinker and a cheater to keep my bait off the bottom and got nothing. Since there were a bunch of paddle boarders in the way and some girls smoking reefer on the dock (seriously?) i moved over to the 65th dock. I set up at about 2:45 with some chartreuse eggs on a pretty long leader (about 5 feet) and got a pretty decent 12 inch bow' within about ten minutes.
Some hooligans stared jumping off of a tree by the dock so I left at 3. A nice sunny day with some wind, next time im goin after the monster browns or carp

Glad to see a report from 65th, it's been weeks since I've been there. Usually have to be there very early, before sunrise, after that, it' get's crowded. After work is also challenging, alot of teens-twenty somethings hanging at the dock swimming and just relaxing, but they take up the whole dock!! And yes, I also use at least 5' leader, nice going,..

Thanks, but yeah the problem with green lake is that it's an urban lake and it's always crowded. It's too bad because there are some real nice fish in it. Mornings and weekdays are you're best bet, since I don't have a summer job I just go when everyone else is at work!

I got a chuckle out of your comment, "some girls smoking reefer on the dock".... It's too bad they bummed you out...BUT it is WA State and we ARE a Green-State. Have you tried using Mikes Anise Glo-Scent mixed w/ Garlic Power Eggs? I always rub Crill, Shrimp or Anise Mike's on everything down to the termination to remove any human scent. Enjoy.... be easy on the Green-Card folks...
