Got on the water around 1 pm. I put in at Boyer park and headed down river. I can usually catch a few smallies there, and that just what I did, I got a few SMALL smallies. Nothing over a pound, but they are still fun to catch. I used black with red flake tubes, purple wacky senkos, and bass colored jerk bait. The fish hit hard and were really agressive for there size. I really enjoy catching them, just wish I could found something of size. It was a beautiful day at the lake except for the smoke. The canyon had burnt by the dam last knight and was still smoldering, but the fish didnt seem to mind.
