I have been fishing lake tye all summer early on hard to establish a pattern but today I did a combination of fly fishing and gear fishing with an olive wooly bugger on the fly rod and a in line spinner on the spinning rod lots of fish on the spinner mostly smaller fish though the larger fish weren't that interested I caught most of the larger fish while fly fishing and it seems the population of bass in the lake has exploded it used to be every once in while I would see them and I was always searching now there are huge schools of fry and larger bass patrolling the weed lines or in deeper water and because of how successful the spawn was this year next year is going to be great fishing seriously this lake is underrated sure your going catch a lot of small fish but that just makes you appreciate the larger fish looking forward to the fall fishing
