Sorry for the late report.. my camera got lost in all the excitement. We were on the water bright and early Saturday morning. We started our troll about the middle of Mack Bar and worked our way toward Rocky Point. To my surprise we really werent marking many fish and the bite was pretty slow.. we trolled a little ways past the head of the Trench before deciding to make a corner and head back up the bar. This time we moved in a little shallower into that 130 to 160 ft of water range and BOOM there they were! We hooked a triple and a few doubles within about a half hour! The hot bait for this trip was the baited Ace Hi-Fly and Smile Blade combo. Our trolling speed varied between about 1 and 1.3 mph. We ended our morning trip with 13 Lakers in the cooler and had several come off right behind the boat! We couldn't have asked for nicer weather!
