Thought I would head over to Lost Lake this morning since the Hawks aren't playing today. Got on the water at daybreak and caught a couple typical Lost Lake 1lb. LMB. Was using a crankbait along the pads when I got a decent hit. Knew right away it was a pretty good size fish. Was able to net it before it got into the pads. Good thing because I barely had it hooked. Weighed in at 5lbs7oz. Biggest bass of the year for me. I have caught a lot more this year but nothing of size until now. Nice calm morning and was the only one on the water. Caught a few more 1lbers and called it a day at 10:00a/m.

Anybody else having the same results this year?

Congratulations, I had the same experience on Lost lake last year on Sept 30, lots of 1 lb fish and then a big one. Great work.

PacNW...The crank was in a black and silver craw pattern. I've had consistant hits on this crank for the last couple weeks.
Thanks for the comments...

Hey trimcat,
when was the last time you fished here? I know this post is from a while ago, but wanted to see if you still have luck there or not? If so, are you throwing crankbaits still? Shallow or deep? Thanks in advance.
