9/24/2012 10:57:00 AMHAHA I think your the first person to notice that, or atleast the first to say somthing about it! I have noticed I am cathcing perch in the spots where I have been catching bass. I guess that comes with the weather change. Also the water level in the lakes I fish are 6 plus feet lower this summer than the rest of the year. So the big fish are further out,and out of my from shore fishing reach. I'm excited for coming trout and perch season! I had some big smallies in the spring and early summer, but the "drought" just killed the shore fishing this year.

11/4/2012 1:31:00 AMsalmon actually frequently travel through the canal during the fall so i wouldn't be surprised at all. i caught a silver on a deep diving crankbait last fall when fishing for smallies.
