Arrived at Bonnie around 10am Saturday. The creek averaged 12" deep. Near the mouth of the lake the beavers made a mud damn we had to climb over, that was fun. The south end of the lake was rather scummy from the alge still.

We got to the island and set up camp, our fire pit was full of beer cans. Thanks. You would think people who would go through the effort of enjoying this great lake would pack their crap out. Needless to say we did that for them.

Got to fishin' early afternoon, no Bass luck. Cruised to the top of the lake(fairly clear water up here), did some bottom fishing. Landed a nice 13" Crappie. (only one of the weekend). Hooked up with appx. 8 Perch that evening. Near dark the only two LM of the day were caught. 14" and 16" 2.7 pound. (the two gals)

Late Sunday morning I landed this scummy 17.5" 2 pound 13oz LM, really upped the spirits. The rest of the afternoon was sprinkled with LM and Perch.

Around 4pm Sunday in the span of 10 minutes about 7 small engine planes cruised up the canyon, pretty sweet.

Anyhow..long story short it was a pretty good weekend.
