My brother and I also fish together alot, so here is the Clear Lake pattern for a sure thing day......from the public launch go str8 out towards the center of the lake.....start your troll soon as you hit 15' in depth and head str8 down all the way to the end of lake...paying out 100 yards of line by the time you hit midway of the lake.......use a big nightcrawler with a piece of gulp holding your nightcrawler on....slow troll.....between 7am-11am or 5pm-midnight.....you will limit on average sized rainbow and browns everytime, trust me we have hooked around 200 this season....the biggest rainbow being 18.5" and one walleye 27"/10lbs.
