Fishing Saturday morning was a bit of a challenge due to a brutal wind. We fished the Trench, Minneapolis Beach, Mack Bar, Rocky Point, and about anywhere we could find a calm spot on the lake.. Which was tough because I think the wind changed directions about 3 times! We stuck it out though and managed to put a few fish in the boat. The Ace Hi-Fly and Mack's Lure Smile Blade combo was the bait of choice. I love this bait for it's versitility. On a windy day when speed control is almost impossible, at least you know your bait is down there doing what its supposed too.. even when your speed varies between .7 and 2.1 mph.
