First time on this small lake. Arrived noon, spent the next two hours trying plastics, ie: crawfish, frogs, leeches, shad etc. worked most of the lake with my buddy and had no success. This was the last day of the season for Fan, so we rigged up to troll the east side back to the launch ramp. I was trolling a large Curly tailed grub and My bud was trolling a worm harness behind a smiley blade. I picked up 1- 16 in. LMB very slender at 2 lbs. Fully swallowed the grub, required careful removal to be able to release the fish alive. Success. This lake is known for its bass so I've marked it in the journal for a return visit in the spring.
