11/12/2012 8:13:00 AMI was there Sat. with my brother, the launch was much calmer than in past stockings like this. except for the rookies that decide to repair the electric trolling motor on their boat while they block the launch for others to use.
But most understand to stay to the side while they prepare the craft for launch so the rest of us that are ready to go can do so.
By the way the trout planted are not triploids they are classified "jumbo trout" the difference being trips are sterile and dont spawn, the jumbos are capable of spawning. Jumbos are also more active and willing to chase bait while trips tend to be more lazy and less willing to chase their food.

11/15/2012 3:11:00 PMYou could probably launch a boat that big there, but it's just a gravel ramp. Also it's a no combustible engine lake and I am not sure if that means you can't even have one attached to your boat or just not use the motor. I have an 18 foot trophy and I would not launch it at this lake. Feasible, probably. Advisible, no.

11/16/2012 10:42:00 AMThat's good to know that you can't even have the internal combustion engine on the boat period, I have wondered about that in the past and just assumed it was a no go, period, even when not in use. Thanks for the tips.

12/7/2012 10:16:00 PMI have seen people with internal combustion engines using electrical motors on no combustible engine lakes and nobody was going after them as long as they didn't use gas engines :)
