Got to the lake about 10:30, sorry we were so late......parking lot was full, but found a spot up front as a early boater had just left. That fishermen had 3 fish, one about 17 inches and fat, and two other smaller ones. Lake was flat and calm all day. Fish finder did not show many fish, but trolling the flats and shallows were the best bet. We had only one fish for the day, but it was a dandy. Full 18.5" and over 3#'s. Trolling an attractor bugger in dark colors w/ crystal flash just below the surface. Hit hard and fought extremely well... of course forgot the camera......released it for another fishermen.... we also caught one 6" bass and I had one hard take that took my rod down into the water, but broke it off.......reel handle caught on the rod holder and plink,,,,, gone......would have been a nice one..... other that that just a lot of nibbles on my variety of bugger and leech flys.... beautiful day..... water temp 50..... lot's of courteous and friendly fisherman on the lake.... worth a try..
did not see much catching at all......either boats or bank.....
